How are incidents created?
Incidents can be created in several ways: - Alerts from your monitoring stack via the Event API or vendor integrations. - Manual creation in the portal by your team or TG2G SREs. - Automated detectors that spot recurring patterns in logs or telemetry (if enabled for your plan).
How are incidents escalated?
- Severity, entity tags, and alert source are combined with your routing rules.
- TG2G SREs may page your on-call rotation or take action directly depending on scope.
- All escalation actions are recorded in the incident timeline.
